  called to get pricing on what they would charge to help me change my green card to citizenship. They would not give me pricing or a range and insisted I come in for a 150.00 consultation. That doesn't seem fair to me just to get a price. Other attorneys offer free consultations and give range of pricing over the phone. I don't understand why they would charge 150.00 just to get a price. Yes they would apply that 150, if i hired them, but I am not rich and my case is not complicated. I just need a price. oh well. I can't consider them because of this. I wonder how many people pay a consultation fee and dont use her? Seems to me she is taking advantage of the immigrant community. But it's not illegal to charge a consultation fee. Its hard for poor people like myself to get good representation. Especially when i have to pay to find out how much it will cost. my 2 cents
