  Having transferred the Chets drywood termite warranty from the previous homeowner and maintained it for 6 years on a routine inspection from Suncoast Pest (non termite) the inspector told me that i have an active problem with Drywood termites. I thanked him and called Chets immediately and i told them what the other inspector told me.
  
  Chets came out with their inspectors and equipment and assured me that everything was alright, there was no problem and treatment was not necessary.
  
  6-8 months later i had to put a new roof on the house. The roofers were replacing board after board infested with termites and their larve. I called Chet's and asked that they come right away so they could see the termites and see what stage they were in. By the damage and live termites found in the rotting wood, it was indisputable the termites were present long before the call back and the annual inspection prior to that. Chet's refused to help with the repairs or even admit they made a mistake. They had to re-tent my home and raise the price of my warranty significantly to make me go away.
  
  Again, when another professional says I have active termites and I called on Chet's they reinspected and told me I have NO activity.
  
  Now I am trying to sell my house and the damage remaining has already cost me one buyer. How many more remains to be seen. Choose another termite inspection.
  
  ADDED: My Attorney did not agree with Chet's that they were right. My Attorney advised me that due to the wording in Chet's contract, I would have to take them to court which likely would end up costing me thousands of dollars in attorney fees and I decided it wasn't worth throwing good money after bad.
