  Our business, an intellectual property trust, has had an excellent working relationship with this firm for well over five years. Initially, they provided an independent copyright search for me which was completed on a very time basis. Subsequent to that, they assumed responsibility for representation of our more complex trust that requires on-going oversight of its considerable intellectual properties. During the course of our working relationship, this firm helped us to document and establish the properties that we currently own and to secure copyrights on those properties where none existed. Moreover, and perhaps more important, we have been able to secure trademark rights in several categories that are vitally important to the future activities of our operation. They recently guided us to a most generous resolution of an opposition to a trademark application, all the while considering our costs against the benefits to be derived.   I sought out and found a highly recommended group of Attorneys specializing in Patents, Copyrights and Trademarks to satisfy my need for a utility patent on a rather complicated invention. I ultimately received the patent in July of 2017… ahead of the schedule I was told to expect and with all the important claims I sought granted in the patent. With offices in both Sarasota and Tampa, visiting for face to face meetings was a breeze. My patent was expertly handled by attorney David Frijouf from beginning to end and the patent was secured at a cost that was under the budgeted amount estimated. This was my 2nd patent and was by far the most professionally managed process in my experience. Typically, I do not bring champagne to the patent delivery meeting… or for that matter ANY conclusion of a successful business transaction, but I did just that to celebrate the successful issuance of a very complicated, extensively technical patent. We toasted to both my and the firms success with just a few sips of fine champagne… they had to get back to work!
