  The instruction for my son, a fourteen year old near beginner, was excellent. We bought a series of lessons and he worked with several different instructors, all very good, to get his swing and position setup. He will take more lessons in the future.

  I walked into Golftec about 2.5 years ago and had never really picked up a club. I had just retired and told Tony G that I wanted to learn how to play. After a few lessons, I went out and had one of the most discouraging games imaginable - shot about 130. However, I had more fun than any retired person should have and made a commitment that this is the game for me. A little over 2 years later, I regularly shoot in the low 90's and on occasion I can shoot in the high 80's and beat people that have been playing the game for 20 years.
  
  Amazing place, amazing people! If you want to learn how to play and have the facility to practice on your schedule... this is the place for you.

  The South Tampa location is poorly run. Five times we came for practice and the doors were locked and the building empty. Two times scheduled lessons were not honored. It seems the excuse was the internet was always down. Do not recommend this locatation.
