  This review reflects the dental assisting program. The program director, who is also the teacher, decided that we only needed to do half days 50% of the time. She then advised us to remain "clocked in" after we left to show we completed the hours. This is not okay. She repeatedly cancelled class though an email that we would not receive until the morning of, also shorting us hours. Clinic hours at local dentist hours that were promised were never organized and frequently fell through, leaving us again short hours and scrambling with very little assistance from the teacher/director. This resulted in our financial aide being cancelled retroactively. The school itself had to step in and cover our aide as this was to no fault of our own. The teacher/director would not give clear answers about the situation creating further stress. I felt it was best I leave the program, leaving me to start over. I do not recommend this program to anyone as there is a lack of clarity, consistency and practices such as clocking in when we are not actually there.
