  I ordered a Speck and a Salami & Gruyere Paninis along with two croissants ($30!!?). The Speck was bland and it didn't have much of anything on it and the Salami didn't have much on it either, but it was still yummy. Ridiculously overpriced, but yummy. One croissant was good, but the other was stale. The worst part was the service. The girl at the counter had "i couldn't care less" written all over her face. There was no eye contact, she acted as if she was inconvenienced by being asked questions, and she certainly wasn't in a hurry to do any part of her job. And while waiting on my sandwiches to be toasted, she dropped half the sliding door of the pastery case on the floor, picked it back up and while trying to put it back on the case, dropped it into the case on top of the food in the case, without wiping it off. Gross!

  So first off, I've been a barista in Seattle for years. I guess that means I know at least a tiny bit about coffee by now.
  This little Illy walk-up cafe in TIA rocked. What a totally lovely surprise. The cashier was very warm and friendly. I wish I had asked the name of my barista. She was wonderful. Seriously top notch. The coffee was good, better than Sbux for sure.
