  My name is Darren and I am a small business owner I rely on my trucks every day so I purchased them with warranty. Needless to say they pointed me in the direction of Tech 1 engines which sounds like a company that knows about just that. So December first 2015 I dropped my truck off so they could do a full rebuild. $2,800 later and the rebuild is finished. I hear a noise coming from the engine, I have them check it out to get their professional opinion at first they tell me that the noise will subside because it's a freshly rebuilt engine it will take a couple days for the noises to subside. So after a couple days the noise is still there I take it back to type 1 engines. Just so they can tell me this time the noise isn't coming from the engine anymore and has to be coming from somewhere else they said. So I took their professional opinion again and trusted they knew what they were talking about. They tell me if the noise gets worse bring it back again. Now it's January and that noise resulted in a bent rod leaving vibrations in the motor not being able to drive it. Just like curt asked I brought it back to them with all of my oil receipts proving I changed my own oil within the past year /24000 miles I put on it. Just to tell me when i get there the warranty wont cover it because theres this rule where a rebuilt engine only has to run for 90 day so they can take your cash before your engine blows so they can charge you an extta 1400 to have them rebuild the same engine that they rebuilt last time that didnt make it past 25000 miles.I am a small-time business owner and expected better from a business that has an A with the bbb.
